Slow Cooker Bean Topping

We love these beans in quesadillas and burritos and they are so easy 
because there is no presoaking of the beans.

 Ingredients

  • 1 Cup dried kidney beans
  • ½ C dried pinto beans
  • ½ C dried white beans
  • 1 chopped onion
  • ½ tsp minced fresh garlic
  • 4 Cups water 
  • ½ tsp ground Cumin
  • ½ tsp Chili powder
  • ¼ tsp ground oregano
     

Preparation

  1. Simply place all of the ingredients in the slow cooker and set on high for 6-8 hours. 
  2. When done, you have a great topping for potatoes or rice, or a great filling for tortillas or quesadillas.
